That's pretty average. With costs of food going up, could of been worse.

not getting much for your money... oh so right! i am over paying 3.50 for a gallon of milk. The funny thing is, no matter how high milk gets thst something you HAVE to buy. It just amazes me. Report It

  • Yeah pretty resonable.

I don't know cause you just made that funny story UP !!!

Well I say you might have spent alot, I have 5 in my house hold and I spend ony $240 on grocercys for my family every 2 weeks though. If that last you a month, than great. Big familys spend alot, but if it was just me and my husband i dont know.

If it was for a whole month- than it's only 65 dollars a week, including non-food household goods. That's pretty good!

If you fully stocked your freezer and pantry I'd say that's pretty reasonable. If you bought stuff that you'll eventually use, it makes no difference if you buy it all at once, or 20 times throughout the month for $15 each outting.

Get use to spending more soon.
Food prices are on the rise and no relief in site.
Dairy prices ,corn prices and grain prices are the main reasons.
Thats causing everything to spiral out of contol.

Not an unreasonable amount ( if you can afford it).
Make sure meow and pooch get their share!

    Husband whinning?
    I don't blame him.
    We ( men) hate shopping!
    -:)

I really don't know cause I'm sure prices are higer there than where I live but we (me my hubby one kid) usually spend about 80 to 100$ a week.

Did you just move into a new residence? That's the only reason to spend that much, because you have to start from scratch.

depends... how long will all that last you? About month? If not, that's not very good. We Spend about that amount on groceries that will last us about 2 weeks, and that's for a family of four. We live in Indiana, i don't know how different is the cost of living.
    :P
I think all men complain about grocery shopping, even my hubby complains.. and he normally enjoys going to the mall. I maintain men are just strange!

I think it was pretty reasonable. You probably are pretty stocked for quite a while now right? Every time I go to the store I spend about 150.00 but I do it about every week and a half.

Yea sounds about right if you left with 2 weeks of food.
I do pricematching at walmart.. the wed paper has food adds and usually you can find chicken breast family pack on sale for 79-99 cents and walmart will price match also a lot of veggies go on sale..def take advantage of that! Price are going up on everything I hate shopping for groceries but we gotta eat! It just dont seem like you get a lot for your money
