How often should I harvest penne rigate?!

Question: I've grown a penne rigate wheat plant indoors, so I can enjoy home grown pasta. It was planted exactly a year ago today and looks pretty laden with gnocchis. Do you think it is time to reap them?..

i think its time for you to lay off the crack!

April fool right?

The B.B.C. did a similar April fool many years ago,so you are far too late.Richard Dimbleby did it so much better.

wat the hell p-e-n-n-e r-i-g-a-t-e?????
how the hell can u grow pasta....i mean seriously
this world is wayyyy to techno for me!

As often as you like, but don't forget to water the plant with a bit of pesto everytime you harvest your gnocchis. :-D

This has been done before.
Before I was born in fact, the BBC did a feature on spaghetti farmers. Nice try but try harder. You have 2 hours 45 minutes before mid-day

whenever is starts leaking green pesto it's ripe for harvesting.
Be very careful that you have the green pesto kind, the red pesto ones are bad for you

absolutely darlin, enjoy a bumper crop of pasta and gnocchi

Panorama already came up with this "joke", it was funny in the 50's but....

pick the ripe ones first, once the plants are cleared cut the foliage down to ground level and they will sprout again. Don't try this system if you have a mozzarella bush, they only give one crop.

Great one - Lirpa Loof is a good recipe to use them in!!!
Well done!!! LOL
