Question: You've got it in one.

I think its time to get a job,and at least get some bologna!!

it may be so, but it can also mean other things such as:
bread with compound butter.
compound butter is softened butter mixed with spices to infuse flavor in the butter, most commonly used is cinnamon and sugar compound butter. This then is spread on toasts. there are some compound butter which has herbs in it, such as pesto butter.:D

being a vegetarian, i dont eat meat.
so for lunch i usually take a slice of bread and put butter on it and fold it in half as a half sandwich.

try it.

I think you can!It would not be nice if you ask me though lol!

I think it sounds like 2 pieces of toast.

it could be

I was thinking a sandwich would have to have something like meat or cheese in the middle of bread. Then I remembered that if I eat jelly or peanut butter or applebutter which are spreads on bread I call them sandwichs so I guess it is a sandwich. I just call it bread & butter though. I guess it is all a matter of what you are used to hearing & saying but it in not incorrect.

my grannie used to make butter, cinnamon and sugar sammiches..they were good. and toasty!

Yep good ol bread and butter.. its really good i usually put it on half of one piece of bread and fold it over and eat it like that..
I usually eat it with stews and gumbo stuff like that so i can dip my bread in it.. might be a southern thing
