What is the self life of peanut oil, veget oil and olive oil. I don't want it rancid.?!

Question: the only thing that i know that expires are the plastic containers that the oils are bought in and they should have an expiration date stamped on the bottom ,just transfer the oils into a glass jar or continer than they should last for years

Once it is opened, if kept in a cool place (not fridge) it ought to be good for several months. Rancid oil SMELLS rancid. Take a sniff of it before you use it, your nose will let you know whether or not it is bad.
