What is it BarBQ or BBQ?!

Question: I've always wrote it BarBQ, cause' some people don't know that the first B doesn't means Bar, but I understand the other B and the Q means beque. but BBQ, I know it is short form, but to really spell it which one is it? BBQ, BarBQ, or Barbeque?

The word is Barbeque (I think it comes from French). It is often abbreviated "BBQ" in English. I've never seen anyone spell it "BarBQ".

I always write BBQ because its shorter and keeps the all caps thing going on and Barbecue for full, Q sounds like "cue"

Never heard of BARBQ. Barbecue if you want to spell it out, but it is usually only used for an event say you hold in your back yard. However, BBQ is the common abbreviation.
