Question: Back in the 80s Wendell had two other bakers named Bob & Quello.
After a while, the commercials focused on Wendell more and it seemed like Bob & Quello disappeared.

I highly doubt it.
Wendell is even starting to lose popularity.
They might just be mascotless just like many other cereals might be.
