Why do pizzas come in square boxes when they're actually shaped round?!
And it costs more to make the pizza if it's square - round is cheaper since they're (pun intended) cutting corners....
Answers: The reason that pizza boxes are square, while pizzas are round is an economical one. The box is square since it is easier to mass produce them that way, and can be cut out of cardboard sections with almost no waste. At the same time, they stack flat when unfolded, and even when folded are easily stackable and of uniform shape and size. It's all about the money saved making them square, not round.

Thats actually a smart question. But i don't have the answer for it, i suppose a round box will look stupid ???!
It wouldn't be a box then would it?
However, great idea ! You should be the first to manufacture them and in all sizes, you could be on to a good thing.
they are more easy to store and hold
LOL, ease of manufacturing, packaging, storage.
GOOD ONE!!!
1. Square boxes are easier to make, and fold.
2. Square boxes are easier to store, they take up less space that way and easier to stack.
its probably easier to make a square box than a cylinder
n it's probably easier to store n make.
Because it is easier to assemble a square box than a round box.
Cause when making a round box, you need to curve the sides of the box, but when making a square box, you just simply fold the sides.
SO THAT WHEN THEY ARE DELIVERED THE SIDES DINT SMASH TOGETHER
IT'S EASIER TO MANAGE A PIZZA IN A SQUARE BOX, THAT WAY IT DOSEN'T TOUCH THE SIDES, OTHERWISE, IT'S MORE TIME CONSUMING TO MANUFACTURE A ROUND BOX.
economics reason is that...
it is more efficient in space, making, and delivering...
Not all are round Like "Little Caesers" had square pizzas in square boxes. Only the Little Caesers in our city died away.
"Sparkie" has the answer....he beat me to it!
