Are frozen bison steaks good?!

Question: I was at the market the other day and saw some frozen bison steak among other less common meat in the UK such as Kangaroo and Veal. I am just wondering whether it's actually any good, I am a big big fan of normal beef steaks, so how do these two compare?

bison is very good
it is very very low in cholestrol if any at all.
it tastes different from beef, but is better for you.
bison is also a dryer meat, so you have to use margerine or olive oil to cook it,
wonderful cooked on the grill

just add your favorite seasoning, and marinate it if you like.

i am not sure...... ask yo momma

It's usually best to cook meat before consumption. I didn't like it too much but you'll have to try it to find out. Oh, and cook it first (well defrost it first, I mean buy it, defrost it, cook and eat :-)

they are really nice a lot like steak i cooked mine in oven in foil bit of pepper on them yummy

I too bought some, but have not yet used them. The farmer, who is a regular at our farmer's market, is adamant that even if they are frozen, they are just as good. I am not sure what to do with mine. I think I will slow cook it. I guess frozen and properly defrosted, and cooked from room temperature.
