What is sushi like?!
Answers: Either people tell me it's the best tasting thing in the world or that it's really gross. What do you think? Can it make you sick if you eat it?
Well most people think raw sushi is "gross" because they are not taste adaptive to uncooked salmon, tuna, fish etc.. They could also fear that uncooked food will result in have worms inside their intestines, which in case did occur because the fish wasn't cleaned.
I find raw sushi's taste to be mesmerizing and exotic as long as the fish is thoroughly cleaned and served appropriately.
Non-raw sushi is also tasty and quite enjoyable. The fish / specific sea-food is cooked so no worries about getting sick.
Most respected restaurants today serve quality raw sushi so you shouldn't sweat too much.
It's good, especially with wasabi and SOY SAUCE so try it.
no, there is different kinds of sushi not all of it has raw fish, but if it does have raw fish it is very fresh.
It has to be made fresh . Therefore it has to be made right otherwise its just garbage.
I rather white instead of brown rice.
I like sushi, I was kind of grossed out by the idea but then I tried it. Most people who say it's gross haven't tried it or have tried it with the impression that it would be terrible, it's generally in the mind. You can get sick, but that's the same for about any food and for various reasons. You won't get sick though, go try it, you'll like it. I recommend you get the California Roll as a first try, and then get a Spicy Salmon Roll if you like it.
Sushi is really good (especially if you like raw fish) in my opinion. when I tried it I didn't like the idea of eating seaweed but if you take as bigger mouthful as you can you wont taste it and now I love it! It will only make you sick if the raw fish is off or if the chicken isn't cooked properly or if its bad rice. It just the same as any other food.
First off, sushi doesn't mean that there is raw fish in it. If prepared properly, sushi is good (even when there is raw fish in it).
Don't get sushi outside of a sushi place or you will be very disappointed.
Good I really like the ones with tuna, yum
It depends on your preference. I didn't like the odd texture of the raw fish - it just didn't work for me. I remember a lot of saltiness in the taste, but no issues otherwise. I didn't find it really gross, I just didn't enjoy it. And I didn't get sick, and I don't know anyone who has. If it's made properly, anything that could be poisonous has been removed. If you get it someplace dodgy, then you might get sick.
Raw fish and rice.Love sushi! Especially with pickled ginger, soy sauce and extra wasabi. But yes it can make you sick if the fish is low quality/not fresh.
