See, it's a shame you never said you had pasta, cos the ingrediants you describe would be perfect for pasta.
But for rice? Hmm. OK. Boil and prepare yr rice, (wash it 1st to get the starch out yeah?) Drain it and leave that to one side. Now how do we make that tasty? You could put the tomatoes in a pan, use yr imagination with adding the herbs and spices, (cos u aint told me wat ya got to help ya there!)
to the tomatoes. Fry the onions before though, chop them up, fry them in the saurse pan, and when they are dun, then put yr tin of tom's on top. Leave the excess oil in, dnt drain it cos you will need it later to help the rice not taste so dry and boring, Yeah? OK. Now you have a lovely tom sauce with onions and herbs and spices in it. Sounds ok yeah?
Now, get some flour and just mix it with a little oil and some water. make a dough up, this is rily quick and easy, and fry yr self little tortilla like things, or pancake things, you know what l mean.
Now you can put the rice on the plate, add yr sauce and use yr bread to put it inside.
Sorry my explanation is S**T but hopefully l may of inspired you a bit?
Good'ums Luck'ums from Joss'um's LOL
I like taking zuchini, sliced onions tomatoes, garlic powder, and diced chicken breast.
It grills up nice.
Not really sure if you like tuna, but this is so easy and quick and good. Take chopped up onion and saute in a pan with a little oil(if you use canned tuna in oil you can use the oil from the can), add chopped garlic once the onions are cooked to your liking, just mix a bit don't let the garlic burn. Add the tuna and toss it around in the pan to heat up. Then put in a couple dashes of soy sauce or to your liking. I also like to add a pinch of crushed red pepper at this point. If you like you can add green beans or leave it like it is. You can also add cilantro, or lime juice. Just experiment and have fun. If you like it more saucey you can add a bit of water with flour or corn starch (like a 1/2 cup of water with a teaspoon of flour or cornstarch), but just make sure once you've added this mixture to the pan that you bring it to a boil for a few secs, so the thickens properly and the floury texture cooks away.
How about you mix the rice with the tomato with the onion with the herbs and spices, on toast.
mmm..
if you could get some chicken you could make a nice curry. that;s what im doing for dinner mmmm
