Why are Smucker's Uncrustable p & j pockets so EXPENSIVE??!
Answers: For a pack of 4 it's like 5.99! They are my most favorite things in the world, but pricey. Might as well make a regular p & j sandwich and take of the crust, and squeeze the edges together so they stick and put 'em in a sandwich baggie and leave a bunch in the freezer.
Because only a lazy idiot would buy pre-made, crustless, frozen PB&J sandwich.
You can do the exact same thing with your favorite loaf of bread, jars of PB and Jelly.
Make the sandwich as normal.
Take an empty (and clean) tuna fish can and use it to cut out biscuit like, crustless sandwich. The edges should be sealed from the force of the can. You can also use a biscuit cutter, or even a large cookie cutter. Wrap each one in plastic wrap, put them in a large zip-top bag and toss into the freezer.
Oh, do yourself a favor and use some real bread - not that Wonder junk. It'll taste better, and it's better for you.
They probably hire little elves to meticulously saw off the crust with an exacto knife. Since they end up eating all that waisted bread, they gain weight and no longer can work (fit) on the assembly line. Hiring new employees all the time can get costly.
I know! And they're small, too! I mean, it takes like 2 minutes to make a PB&J, so it's not like you're paying for much labor!
People are silly enough to PAY..
