Is an avacodo a fruit or a vegie?!

Question: It's a fruit -- a "fruit" is anything that is formed around the seed of a plant, derived from the plant's ovary tissue. Fruits don't have to be sweet. Some of them don't look fleshy at all -- like think of those trees that have burrs on them that get stuck in your dog's fur -- those are fruit, too. It's just a strategy the plant uses to spread its seeds.
In the case of tasty fruit we like to eat, the plant benefits from having an animal eat the seed, partially breaking down the seed coat in its digestive tract, and then pooping out the seed in some fertilizer so it has a nice rich place to grow! :)

I would say it would be a veggie because the way it looks

An Avocado is actually a citrus fruit.
