I dont want to pasteurized milk?!


Question: i want to start farm for milk. i want to sell milk as cheap as possible. but i know i have to pasteurized it and than sell it. but if i do it the cost goes up and i cant sell for cheaper price. all people boil milk in their house once they buy it. but in the mean time between milk leaves the cow and than trasport it to the store. this process take about 24 hrs. so in this time can ikeep the milk in a cooler or frezer and brink the temperture down to 40 f . will that help . cus i know if i keep the milk in room temperture the bectaria will grow. am i right.

It is illegal in most states to sell raw (unpasteurized) milk. It's true that temperature is a factor in making bacteria grow but so is whether or not the milk is contaminated.

I'm not sure the USDA will allow that unless it's for your own use.

Only weirdos will want to buy your milk (and risk death), so you will not make a profit.
