What do you know about cheese storage?!
Answers: How do cheese manufacturers store their product until it is sold? As soon as it is ready for sale and consumption, the best before date comes into play. Can they freeze it or is it stored in airtight containers until it's ready to package?
The first rule in cheese storage is that all cheese storage is not equal. Semi-soft to hard cheese should be wrapped in foil to prevent mold, but if you enjoy soft cheeses like Brie, using plastic is perfectly acceptable. Store your shredded cheese in an airtight container. Because shredded cheese has more exposed surface area, it is more likely to mold and should be used within a couple of days.
cheese storage,never go bad.
i have lots of frozen chez , it works just fine
I freeze cheese all the time, especially the ones that are individually wrapped - it freezes and defrosts very well.
