Making spag bol, calories?!

Question: me and my mum are making spag bol tonight. we're just using traditional mince beef, which raw, has about 220 calories per 100g. the packet weighs 500g, which is more than i expected. obviously when you cook meat the caloric value is reduced, but by how much? coluld anybody give me a rough estimate as to calories per100g if i dry fry the meat?

Cooked, oil free, works out to be about 185 cal per 100g.
the fat content varies a lot in mince even if it says, say, 10% fat it could be 5-15%. A lot of fat and water gets cooked out so pat the cooked mince with scrunched paper towel to absorb any extra fat.

see in google

Sorry no idea however, a method of fat free cooking is preferred. My recipe:

Mince; dry fried, completely drained and patted dry with Kitchen Roll
One onion, chopped
One tin of chopped tomatoes
Two hand fulls of Mushrooms; chopped
One clove of garlic, finely chopped
Large tablespoon of tomato puree
Fresh Basil (handful chopped)
Pinch of salt
Teaspoon of sweetener

Cook mince and leave to drain. Add all other ingredients to a pan and simmer for 30 to 40 mins. Add drained meat and stir. Check seasoning. Sauce should now have thickened, if not simmer for a little longer with lid off.

Enjoy

Depends on the orginal fat content and the length of time you are willing to drain and recook the mince then continue to drain. If you are concerned about fat content, buy steak (cut will depend on your budget), remove the visable fat then mince either in a food processor or hand grinder.
