no, only if you load it up with butter

microwave popcorn is loaded with fat. try the low fat versions.-blurey

Plain popcorn made in an air popper has only 30 calories per cup... and only about a 1/3 of a gram of fat..
It also has 1.21 grams of fiber...

If you can limit the toppings you put on it, popcorn is a great snack food..

Only if you eat it!! Popcorn is CORN. It contains its own oil (corn oil) sugar (fructose) starch (corn starch) and proteins (amino acids). YES popcorn, if eaten in any large quantity or frequently will make you fat.

if it has butter like at the movies i got popcorn with no butter and i put some butter flavored powder that i got at walmart it taste fattening but its only 2 grams of fat i get the small bags of popcorn to 98% fat free

No, but it makes you FART!!!!!!!!!!

Corn as we all know is indigestible. Foods that contain corn like corn oil, corn starch, and high fructose corn syrup are not very digestible and make the body work harder to get them passed, instead of working on easily digestible foods and high soluble fibers.

it won't make you fat but microwave popcorn has been known to cause lung cancer.

not the popcorn, what you add to it and how you pop it. (Hot air is the best method for popping without adding calories.) I use it for a late night snack all the time. [light on the salt, no butter]

only with lots of butter
