Answers: If you set them both in seperate jars and let it sit there for weeks on end, you will notice McDonalds fries will still look exactly the same as 2 months prior. I've never seen store bought french fries be tested like this so I dont know. Whatever the reaction, I seriously doubt anyone can outbeat McDonalds with preservitaves. LMAO! No telling what's in it!!

why would there be a difference. They are blanched in the same manner. And I don't know how you are going to get uncooked (I assume you mean not fried) McDonald's french fries.

McDonalds does not put preservatives in their french fries. It wouldn't make any sense. Why would they. As with all restaurant food it is expected to be eaten presently and therefore no need to add preservatives. The experiment you are referring to is from Fast Food Nation and was done with fried french fries. And still didn't prove anything except the other restaurant was a little dirty.
Most of the ones in the markets are slightly cooked before being packages an frozen, so should last longer.
