They still make it and sell it. Maybe someone at your Kroger store isn't ordering it. You need to ask the grocery manager about getting some. Smacks are a great cereal.

it seems that they were sugar smacks in the 1980s, but are now called honey smacks. They are still being sold (no signs of non distribution)

That was some good cereal, but I heard Smacky the frog had to go to rehab, it wasn't good. They say that you can sometimes find him hanging with count chocula. I do miss smacky from time to time.....
