What can i eat???!


Question: i just got my top teeth pulled out tuesday and i am still pretty sore and i am starving.. i have ate macaroni and cheese, ice cream, soup,and soft tator tots..... but i want some real food.. any suggestions on some meal ideas?

Besides just the soups and mashed potatoes you may want to consider steamed veggies since they end up very soft if steamed for a good amount of time or a casserole like chicken cobbler or even soft tacos with well chopped lettuce or burritos. My husband had his upper teeth pulled and these are some things to keep from the menu getting too dull.

ensure or boost should help

gummie snacks,bananas, fruit roll ups, fruit(oranges,strawberry's,etc) bread.

smoothies

jello and pudding.

Lasagna is very soft, mashed potatoes with gravy sounds good, banana cream pie, rice pudding,

mashed potatoes, oatmeal, applesauce, cottage cheese with cinnamon and sugar, rice, very ripe banana

some type of Alfredo style pasta with no meat in it because that would hurt to chew

I had that done recently i drank smoothies and soups through a straw and ate loads of ice - cream and recently i've started to eat Rice krispie squares there really soft and super yummy.

mashed patatos some jello and mamby a milk shake

Any sort of pasta, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, yogurt, fruit smoothies, flaked tuna or chicken on a slice of soft bread

cans of spaghetti-o's ..... yogurt ... cottage cheese ... mashed potatoes ..... Not that these are the "real" food you want, but you don't want to be chewing yet:)
