Frozen grocery store bread?!

Question: How do I thaw out a frozen loaf of bread? I don't want to end up with wet, soggy bread. It's just a regular loaf of bread I bought at Walmart and threw in the freezer as soon as I got it home. Thanks!

I just take out a few slices and heat them in the microwave. My mom has done it for years.

Take it out of the freezer and let it thaw at room temp. There is no magic formula, just leave it sealed as is from the store.

Just put it on the counter. It should be fine. If you just need a slice or two, take them out & they will thaw very quickly.

I would take it out of the freezer and put in a loaf pan (greased), cover it with paper towel or waxed paper or tin foil, leave it out on the counter overnight (or take it out in the morning and leave it all day) 8-12 hrs. Then bake in 350 degree oven for about 25 minutes.

i ususally p[ut in toaster straight from freezer. You can try and slice it before toasting. u can also put it in the oven for a few minutes.
