If you made biscuits with chocolate milk instead of regular milk, would they taste chocolaty?!
Answers: Jim,I did try once, but they did'nt grow and the taste was different, as well as the colour, but not really chocolaty. Don't need try it. Have a nice weekend! Dominich
I imagine they would :-D
I might give it a try tomorrow and let you know! :-)
Goodnight Jim
Oh...I see that Dominich has already tried this. So she has the answer for you!
Ha ha, I've thought that before aswell! I once made a sponge cake with strawberry milk and it tasted of strawberry so I would think it would be the same. Give it a try and let us know!
Yes, your biscuits would have a slight chocolatey flavor, but not to the extent that you might think. Also, as chocolate milk is made with sugar, whereas regular is not, you would need to use flour that is extra self-rising or else they will not rise.
Hardly.
The amount of chocolate in chocolate milk is fairly low. Chocolate milk tastes nice because there is a lot of sugar in it.
Check the ingredients - it hasn't got much to do with chocolate.
In biscuits, the milk is just one of the ingredients. So if one of the ingredients only contains a tiny bit of chocolate, you don't get chocolate cookies.
You can leave out lots of the sugar that you would add normally, though.
I once tried putting chocolate milk in banana nut muffins and it works! It doesn't give it a pure chocolate taste, but it gives a slight chocolately sensation in your mouth! In chocolate milk, it has mostly artificial taste, but sometimes you can get cacoa milk or cacoa powder and mix it with regular milk to get that smooth silky feeling in your mouth! Not to mention chocolately!
Tell me all about it!
they'd have a hint of a cocoa flavor, but not really very chocolatey.....
Probably. Maybe I should try it.
Yes, they probably would but then I'd have to call them scones instead of biscuits.
sure hope so from a chocoholic.
