Answers: lasagna is made using ricotta and mozerella cheese. Cottage cheese can be substituted for the ricotta

Bechamel? I think...

Ricotta or Mozzarella.

Hopefully.

Usually ricotta mixed with eggs and a bit of mozzerella

Should be Mozzarella if it's made properly.

Ricotta

Ummmmmmmmmmmm its actually white sauce,
the cheese goes on the top

Cottage cheese

Ricotta normally. I have seen cottage cheese if it is really cheap lasagna.

real italian lasagne have bechamelle sauce, that thing that looks like melted cheese.but american lasagne is made with ricotta by some and what they think is mozarella.which mozarella in italy is very different.so then they are not really italian lasagne.it is as if i were to say an american hamburger is on a baguette bread with cream cheese and then the meat.

Ricotta or cottage cheese. Look at the ingredients label. Could be either one.
