Can i eat a pinecone?!
Answers: long story short, i get ￡5 if i eat a pinecone. but i was wondering if this is entirly safe. i dont mind getting a bit ill or throwing up, but will there be any major negative effects?
Pinecones have alot of oil in them. (pine oil) Also i dont think you would be able to digest it properly.
Pine oil will most likely make you violently sick. Dont do it for a fiver

i dont think there is cuz i bet my mate to eat a pinecone and he was fine. but if i was u i would put the bet up to a tenner and eat it. so best of luck

Well im pretty sure it only consists of wood. Did they say what form that you had to eat it in? IF not chuck her in a blender, add a bit of milk or something and they have a go. But for that much, I wouldnt do it...

NO - even squrrels don't eat all of the pine cone, and if anyone/thing knows if it is safe, they do!!
A pinecone contain the seeds of the pinetree - so it'll definately be nutritious. But don't expect it to taste good ..
A pinecone also consists of really rough plant-material - which would give you plenty of fiber. I would however suspect, that it is too rough for you to digest properly, and I suspect a tummyache!
Last but not least .. a 5'er?? Hey .. if you're having indigestion for 2 days, you should get a little more than that!!
Tell them you'll eat half a lemon, with the peel for a 5'er. Make sure it's organic ;) - It's a little bitter, but not bad, actually - the peel and white bits take the worst bite out of the sour!
