Once turkey is cooked, how long will it stay fresh in the fridge?!
Answers: I'm a bit paranoid about things going off or giving myself food poisoning, so I was just wondering - I made a turkey and vegetable stir fry last night (Saturday) and put what was left over in an air tight tub in the fridge. Will it still be OK to eat tomorrow?? How long will it stay fresh for?
The rule of thumb for any cooked meat is 3 days. If you can't finish it by then, freeze it or toss it.
Processed meat like hot dogs or lunch meat is good no more than 5 days.
yes, it should stay fresh for a few days.... I dont eat anything after it's been in the fridge for about 4 days
I would give it a week
you made stir fry right? so there're salt or soysauce in it. dont worry. those salt keep foods longer
IT WILL BE FINE FOR TOMORROW. BY WEDNESDAY MORNING IF IT'S STILL IN THE FRIDGE, I SUGGEST TO THROW IT OUT, BECAUSE IT WON'T BE AS FRESH AND AFTER THAT MANY DAYS, NO ONE IS GONNA WANNA EAT IT ANYMORE. PLUS ITS NO FUN TO HAVE LEFT OVERS IN THE BACK OF THE FRIDGE TAKING UP SPACE. IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!
