How do I stop my son from being greedy?!

Question: we order pizza and he'll get a slice and then he won't even taste the food he swallows it like there no more then then he wants to eat everything in one day we wake up and he'll eat the whole pack of lunch meat or drink all the juice and then he'll hide the the package and say he didn't do it and he's not fat either he eats but don't gain nothing What should I do?

First, how old is he? Was there ever a time, maybe at someone elses house that he was not allowed more food when he was still hungry? If not, sounds like he needs some guidance in portion control, or you will have weight issues later with him. Explain to him that he can have some, then put it aside or away and show him later that it is still there when he comes back.
I know my kids when they buy something with their own money (favorite candy or gum) they put it away in their room. If they leave it out and it disappears it is their own fault.

He is a growing kid. It isn't greed, it's hunger. Don't punish him for having a high metabolism. If he is hiding packages, you already have him feeling guilty for being hungry. Keep it up and he'll have a complex.

He may have a tapeworm. You should talk to the doctor next time you go in.
You should not punish him because he is not savoring every bite. This question should have been posted in parenting.

Your the father teach him. Or maybe he learned it from watching those around him.

He is most likely needing this food...yes it goes in fast but he is a growing boy and needs the nutrition....if your having a problem financially handling his stomach look into ways of saving money at the store or even seeing if you qualify for food benefits. I have a preteen boy and have just learned how to shop better, use my coupons and make enough for an army even though I am only feeding a family of 4 - between him and my husband, it all gets taken care of. And neither of them are fat.

But if it truly is a manners thing then he needs to be taught better. Tell him he can have a second or 3rd piece once everyone else has had their chance.
