Im overweight and need a diet plan thats easy to stick with?!

Question: I'm 17 year old female, 18 in May. And I have struggled with my weight before I even know what weight was. I weight 178.5 pounds and I am finally ready to get serious about losing weight. Breakfast I normally eat whatever is easy to make with a cup of coffee and creamer. Lunch I normally have fast food (I am willing to quit that) and dinner I normally have 2 helpings of whatever junk my dad makes for dinner. All my life my parents have told me "eat everything on your plate, theres people dying in africa that would love that food" I think thats partially where I got my weight.

Is there anyone who's been where I'm at? I want to get down to 115 lbs within a year at least. Hopefully sooner. So i need to drop 63 pounds kind of quickly but healthily so it won't come back right away.

I'm pretty desperate so please help.

Weight Watchers you can now join on-line
that is the best advise. And you can eat out as well
Its a little slower than fad diets, but in the end it will all be worth it! Hang in there!

I was a member of the "clean plate club," so I feel for ya.

Step up the exercise.

Log in everything you eat to something like fitday.com or just a written journal. You'll be less likely to eat as much, and you'll see where all the calories and fat are coming from.

Don't use creamer (read the ingredients of whati's in it)

Don't do ANY fast food, only something healthy at Subway or similar occasionally.

No white foods (bread, pasta, potatoes). Use the whole grain and brown variety, in moderation.

Plenty of lean meats.

No sugar, and even avoid sugar substitutes, except Stevia. They hinder weight loss!

When I was 15 I became a vegetarian and lost 50 pounds over the summer. It was pretty drastic. I was a vegetarian for two years. I'm eighteen now and gained it all back. Just cut back on the fast food and opt for lean meat sandwiches. Light on the mayo of course. Will power really helps too. You can't succumb to cravings. Keep a mantra in your head that will help you stay on track.
