I think right now Americans are the most unadventurous in food..I am an American and think it is fun to try new things. I've ate tofu, soy products, want to try pesto, probably next week.. I have ate squid and octopus.. but not many Americans want to stray from what they know and love.. mainly hamburgers, pizza, hot dogs, and various casserole type dishes. I like these foods, but as Americans realize that the food we love so much are killing us, I think more and more people will look outside the norm to find healthier alternatives. So give us time, we're slowly changing one food adventurer at a time. P.S. if you have any dishes you think I should try, I'd love to as long as I can find the ingredients in my local store.. (They don't even sell soy burgers in the Super Wal Mart here, part of the problem is that the supermarkets here in my Texas town, honestly don't have much variety.. but I suppose I could always buy online)

americans
they ***** and moan over everything else

AMERICANS DUH!

Germans because they are kinda strict...on the contrary, Chinese will eat anything that fly through your mind

England. Anyone that can server fryups as food has a problem... pork and beans with everything...nasty and no tasty foods at all.

Americans just dont have a taste for good food because they are junk food addicts... it doesnt mean that they dont try food from different countries.

People from India (hindu or muslim) are not likely to try other foods because of religious reasons.

In my experience...the Spanish. The best are the US and the UK. Their supermarkets are full of great foods from all over the world.

I think Irish Americans. Most Irish americans I know don't like to try anything new, don't like spicy, don't like strong flavors. Of course this is a complete generalization. I hope you irish americans out there won't be offended. I know not all of you are unwilling to try new things.

The English. Which is why their cuisine was mocked by the world for years. Beans on toast? How is that food? Bangers and Mash? Almost every English person I have met in the US (there are a lot) hates to try anything new. They like bland, even bland Indian food.

But I don't assume that is all of them, just as you all shouldn't assume that all Americans eat McDonalds (we don't)

Edit - not at all lokiloodle. But you are waaaay off. I love spicy food.

canadians..........they probably eat deer and moose and hockey pucks for a living

Americans. We seem to prefer bland food and comfort food.

Everyones saying Americans but thats not always true. There are a lot of Americans (including myself), that are willing to try new foods that are different.
