Where does egg drop soup come from?!

Question: Okay I know Egg Drop soup is chinese but my Best Friend says that it is from Bangladesh. I refused to believe her but is that true that Egg Drop Soup is originally made from Bangladesh?

Now I know that some Egg Drop soup is imported but I am asking if Egg Drop is ORIGINALLY made in Bangladesh.

Egg Drop Soup origins are said to of come from Bangladesh..I remember reading this a while back. I love egg drop soup!! GREAT COMFORT FOOD
