Can bottled, sealed, filtered water get stale or is my wife full of rat hooey?!

Question: Use powdered water and you'll have no problems.

Answers: Use powdered water and you'll have no problems.

she's full of rat hooey all right !

It definitely can go stale.

I think you're the one full of rat hooey.

No offense, of course.

what in the world is rat hooey y dont you just say full of **** and water dont go stale buddy or else all water would be stale cuz the get it from streams and purify it

fresh water is full of oxygen from its constant movement (that's why river water is so fresh, and if we could drink it, so would sea water). when water stays standing for a while, (in a pond, lake, or water bottle) the oxygen floats out of it and it becomes 'stale'.

as long as no bacteria are growing in it (like happens in ponds), all you have to do is shake it and it will become full of oxygen and once more be 'fresh'.

animals are smart, they will always prefer the oxygenated water from the tap or pet fountain to a bowl of water that's been sitting there all week.

I think it would eventually grow bacteria...not sure about getting "stale"....

lol@ rat hooey.
