Vegetarian Meals?!?!

Question: I am really interested in vegeatrian meals and wanted to try some but when i look for them on the internet they all seem really expensive such as one bean burger needed 2 types of tofu and 8 beans?!

Just wondering if anyone knew any tasty dishes that i could try, i am quite a budding chef (i wish lol) so am willing to try anything new.

Thanks for reading x

Go on vegweb.com. They have really good recipes that range from simple to extensive. They have a rating system on the dishes and people leave comments on how to make them better. I believe everything I have made from that site has turned out great.

Well, me and my ada go into the kitchen, we cut all kinds of vegetables, like carrot eggplant etc. and put all kinds of sauces, like soya sauce, oyster sauce etc. the thing is....we also put chicken, but i dont think you need to if you dont want it.

^_^

Veggie chilli usng onions then adding some quorn, tinned tomatos and tin of mixed beans, add chilli powder. You can vary this according to taste. Add lentils or veg. We use this as a quick cheap meal. Serve with rice. You can use quorn instead of minced beef to make lasagne, bolognese ,shepherds pie or just lots of things

growing up vegetarian, one of our favorite quick, weekday meals was falafel.

the mix is super easy to make (just add water, roll into balls, fry or saute or bake).

put them into whole grain pita with cucumbers, tomatoes, tahini, hummus, mustard, whatever you like - kalamata olives and feta if you want.

there are also some great vegetarian soups (lentil, tomato, potato leek, black bean), you could make whole wheat spaghetti with meatless sauce and crumble tofu into it (use tofu like you would use mild cheese like ricotta). make anything that normally has meat in it, just leave out the meat and put some other protein in there (tofu, nuts, dairy/eggs if you eat those). happy cooking!

Try using Quorn mince instead of minced meat in any recipe.

Or why not just make something simple like jacket potato with baked beans or cauli cheese?
