I cooked some black beans about 2 weeks ago and put them in the fridge. Can i still eat them or are they bad?!

Question: I wouldnt risk it - there'll be bacteria under the skins that don't die if you don't cook the beans to destruction.

Answers: I wouldnt risk it - there'll be bacteria under the skins that don't die if you don't cook the beans to destruction.

I don't eat anything over 3 days old.

if they are 2 weeks old i would throw them out

They are bad. cooked food should not be eaten after 48 hours unless you freeze it.

well if they were in the fridge, they're okay, i've cooked black beans and a month later they're still good, just make sure the fridge temp wasnt too low, so the temperature of the food can stay cold, therefore when u microwave or hheat up..the warmness and deliccious taste is still there

when in doubt throw it out and stick with the 3 day rule!

Don't take chances. Food poisoning is defineitely not nice.

I wouldn't risk it. Three days is the outside limit of how long you can keep leftovers in the refrigerator. They may be fine but I've had food poisoning from old leftovers and believe me, it simply isn't worth the risk.

I always make beans on the weekend for the week, and if any are left, they get eaten during the second week. I think that, if beans spoiled in less than 2 weeks, I would have seen some signs in about 40 years of eating them that old.

3 days is the rule, they are definitely bad by now.....bacteria bound....toss them out and get yourself some fresh food......

No, cook some more, and throw those out!! Good Luck.
