Theyre ok, I find most of the time that there is far too much cream in and not enough apple and the apple is bland. They would be nice with some sultanas and cinnamon added, maybe some patisserie custard and less cream.

Oooh, brings back memories. Grandpa used to work for a bakery and he would bring us apple turnovers. Mom would warm them up and fill them with icecream! Yum.
Yes, but only if they have flaky crust and a lot of apples in them. Some that you find are poor substitute for a real apple turnover.....
I like apple turnovers but I prefer cherry ones - warm with French Vanilla ice cream.
