Are these eggs ok to eat?!

Question: I have some eggs and their BBF date is 11th of april but i bought them 2 weeks ago. I put them in water and they sunk. I can't remember if it's, sink they're ok, float they're off, or the other way around.
Any ideas if i should eat them?

absolutely fine.

if they float they are off as the gasses inside cause them to float.

enjoy

They are fine. Make sure to cook them well.

Yeah you can eat them, eggs last way after their sell by date and you've still got 2 days till you even reach that!

If they sink they're good.

there fine and if its a floaters it bad

If they have been in the refrigerated, they should be all right. Break one open, you will know if they not.

if they float dont eat them.

Floaters contain air = bad...

well the BBF date says 11th April and today is 9th April, so by my guessing they are still 2 days in date! So yeah eat them! Eggs last ages past there sell by date! Most things do. The shops put a shelf life on everything to cover theere backs! Eat away

May I introduce people to the chinese concept of the Thousand Year old egg.
Basically it's an egg wrapped in horse manure and buried for six months.
Rare delicacy.
Yummm.

They are fine, I always put the eggs in the fridge which you can keep longer.

I not keen to test the 1000 year old eggs but your eggs are definitely okay. BBF dates are only an indication. Trust your nose when you crack them open.
