Electric BBQ Grills: Do they work well?!

Question: We were looking at gas bbq grills and found an electric one at Lowe's. Do these work just as good as gas grills and are they easy to maintain? Does the food taste good when cooked on them?

They do what they are supposed to but I don't think the flavor is as good. If you just want to cook the meat, that's fine. If you want more flavor go with gas, even more flavor you'll want charcoal.

If your going to grill, get gas or charcoal. If you want an electric grill...get a george foreman...thats basically what an electric grill is.

i would say no.. i have a gas grill that i only use when i am cooking for more than my family.. i prefer charcoal.. food tastes sooooooooooo much better than cooked on electric or gas..and with the price of propane and electric i will be using my charcoal alot this year..

No dont do it ...compare it to cooking on a range inside ...you just do not get the right heat and its hard to control because you can not see it, also when grilling beef u will parch the surface rather then break down the muscle , like card board ...gas or charcoal allow you the flexibility of moving product through the heat source as you see blue flames etc

simple answer: NOT!!!!!!! charcoal all the way baby. get a Weber
