Expiry dates and use by dates.?!

Question: I can get very easily scared with the most little things. Well what happened, my dad made a concoction and I'm pretty sure the ham he put in expired 3 days ago. I don't know if thats alright, I'm very scared and have a BAD fear of vomitting. It's been wrapped up tightly in the fridge ever since we got it. Is this bad? Will anything happen or am I just over exaggerating?

as long as your father cooked it to the right temperature to kill the bad bacteria in the ham, it should be fine!
i drank some spoiled milk before... nothing happened.

If it's already cooked than the "used by" date refers to when it was cooked. Besides, three days isn't so bad. I've eaten cakes made from mixes that expired a year or two ago and was fine. I've also tried expired canned frosting, but it tasted sort of like chemicals.

you will be fine.
the used by date is indicative of when the product should be used.
i have used many expiry dated foods and had no effect from them.
rest easy my friend.

Not it's not bad.
Your just over exaggerating.

So just relax & enjoy.:-)
