Every time I eat an apple, I get the hiccups?!

Question: The really bad ones that just sound like a burp. And they usually last for an hour and hurt a little. Does anyone else have this problem?
And please, don't tell me to just stop eating apples!

Try taking smaller bites and chewing them more thoroughly before swallowing. I usually quarter my apples and carve the core out before eating them. It's easier to control the size of chunk you bite off.

To get rid of hiccups, try this: fill a regular-size glass with cool water (not cold), lean over a sink, and drink out of the far side of the glass in small sips, breathing every two or three swallows, until they stop. Rise up very slowly, taking small breaths. This always works for me, but sometimes I need to refill the glass once or twice before the hiccups stop. The sooner you "catch" them, the less water you will have to drink.

Maybe you eat apples too quickly. Spend time to chew it really good! When you get hiccups, hold your breath for 20sec and they should go away.

Yeah everytime i drink a drink from taco bell i get them

If you burn your hand when you put it in a fire, wouldn't you stop putting your hand in the fire?
If you have the same reaction every time you eat an apple, it should give you a clue that your body may not like apples, or the pesticides that are sprayed on apples. It is your body, listen to it.

You should peel the skin off and see how that effect you.
:)
You should be fine
