Why the HELL did Starbucks change their logo??!?!?!

Question: To that nasty brown fat fish?!

Answers: To that nasty brown fat fish?!

It is not a change, it′s temporary. That was the original logo (well, most of it).

They must have done it to get Howard Schultz′s return to the head of the company noticed.

They also got good media attention through it: Free publicity worldwide.

Animal Planet changed theirs too. Maybe they think it will make it fresh and new. I think, though, that people found it naughty.

The original is too synonymous with evil

Because they were tired of the old one. They exported it to Mongolia to be used by the Tartars.

Hi I am assuming the change is only in America as the logos haven't changed in the UK yet, however I have looked it up on Yahoo Images and it looks awful, if you saw that without the starbucks writing or anything else on it you would think it was for a fishmonger. The brown is definitely not a good idea as its dull, they should of left it the way it was green and fun. I suppose the brown was an idea to keep it looking modern as Mc Donalds, Beefeater Restaurants, etc have turned there interior brown, red etc and I think they are trying to follow this but with earthy colours!
