How do I reheat restaurant mac and cheese?!

Question: I tried slowly heating and adding milk but it is so greasy and gross and separates... any other helpful ideas? It was made at a restaurant I went to and I wanted to eat it as leftovers. Thanks in advance!

This is pretty common when trying to reheat any type of cheese sauce, including Alfredo. Your best bet would be to reheat it with a double boiler. Your next bet would be to heat it over *low* on the stovetop with a tbsp of added butter. But never ever reheat in the microwave. It rarely works out.

sprinkle some water on the noodles, then microwave it, or even heat it up on a pan. it works for me. :)

maybey you can try putting back in the pot

nuke it, stir it, nuke it again.

Try adding a bit of butter to it.

small amount of water heat slow

I just microwave it, covered. And I add a little bit of water (maybe a teaspoon) to re-moisturize the noodles because they get dried out.

put it on toast and make sure its soft if you put it in the microwave and put on the menu macaroni cheese on toast.
