Blood oranges?!

Question: Are they nice to eat on their own? Are they sweet just like normal oranges, or are they heavily sour? Where can I get them in Los Angeles, and how much do they cost? Do they as individuals or in packs? And lastly, are they nice for breakfast? I recently read about these, and if receive some positive feedback, I may just go out and get them. Thanks!

theyre delicious and not heavily sour at all. I don't know where to get them in los angeles cuz i live in montreal, canada. They're good for breakfast if you like oranges for breakfast too. And it depends which store you get them in. Some will sell them individual, some won't. And caroline's right. They are more expensive then regular oranges.

they are sweet, juicy and Delicious

DELICIOUS and naturally very sweet. They're a specialty item so they may be sold by the piece rather than by the bag. Give them a try.

I've never eaten one by itself, only had it in a blood orange martini...and it was DELICIOUS!!

They are sweet, sour, and delicious! A beautiful orange with ruby red inside and juice that is just so delightfuly delicous. They are nice to eat on there own and thet are perfect for breakfast! They are not to expensive but I assume they are more expensive then regular oranges! Enjoy!

They are pretty sweet and mellow. They have seeds. And they stain stuff easily. But they are pretty good.

They are just like regular oranges.
