What is cheese made of? Am i allergic to it?!

Question: milk + bacteria... you probably wouldn't be 'allergic' to it, but you very well might be 'lactose intolerant'. This would come from anything with milk in it. Basically, your body may lack the enzymes needed to breakdown the sugar 'lactose' which is in milk products.

You can remedy this problem by either 1)buying 'lactose-free' dairy products or 2)by enzyme pills (you can find these at health food stores or major supermarkets)

don't worry, its not... just try lactose-free dairy products, and if you are still feeling bloated/sick, then go to a doctor. Report It

  • Milk + Bacteria.. That's it.

and as to know if you're allergic to it.. ehh how the hell would I know?

    milk and bacteria

Milk and Cultures.....I make my own fresh cheese at home with natural ingredients.

I cannot eat any store bought cheese....I get a headache

You might be lactose intolerant, Your doctor can have you tested for that.

Milk & bacteria. Some cheeses have nuts or wine in them. Are you allergic to them? If so, just don't eat ones with nuts or wine.

Cheese is a food made from the milk of cows, goats, sheep and other mammals, by coagulating the milk. This is accomplished by first acidifying it with a bacterial culture and then employing the enzyme rennet (or rennet substitutes) to coagulate the milk to "curds and whey."[1] The precise bacteria and processing of the curds play a role in defining the texture and flavor of most cheeses. Some cheeses also feature molds, either on the outer rind (similar to a fruit peel) or throughout.
If you have gas, bloating, stomache ache, etc. after eating cheese you may be allergic, but you would also have these same symptoms when eating other milk based foods.
