Black food colouring!?!
my daughters birthday is coming up and she wants a black cake!!! i have had a look in waitrose to see if the sell black food colouring and they dont!!!! does anyone have any suggestions where i might be able to get black food colouring from!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try adding lots of blue food coloring to the darkest colored chocolate icing you can!.It might be better to make your own icing if you can't find a really dark oneWww@FoodAQ@Com
Squid ink was the first thing that came to mind, but I don't think that it would taste good as icing (it's really salty)!.

Buy black sugarpaste! It is totally black and you can cover the cake with it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Mix all the food colorings together but put alot of blue and not to much of yellow and it will turn out really dark or maybe even black!.good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com

red, blue and green colouring mix it together on equal parts and you'll have a kind of black!.!.!.

I would suggest that you try to direct her into a different direction other than emo!. Im sure your daughter is very nice and smart but the outside world isnt!. Did you know that 95% of the time, make their decision to hire someone or not with in the first 2 min, sometimes base on looks!? but Try blue and green!? or just go get one made!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
