Whats your favourite make of bread?!
i love hedgehog and tiger bread but bread is so expensive especially if your like us never eat a full loaf, half a loaf isn't enough and i don't like to keep it in the freezer!. i don,t like cheap bread it tastes nasty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Warburtons Farmhouse for a sliced loaf, but I also like the 'tin' loaves they make fresh in the supermarket that you slice yourself - Mmmm yummy toasted with butter on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You don't need a bread maker to make bread!. I have one and never use it but I make my own by hand!. It is so easy and much better that all shop bread!. It is also much cheaper!. Make your dough in the morning and then put it somewhere warm to prove!. Like the airing cupboard!. you can then knead it again and put your dough in whatever shape you want, e!.g!. loaf tin or in the shape of rolls - if you tap them and they feel hollow they are ready!. You can vary the taste by what you put in it and there are lots of bread books out there to give you ideas!. I make mine on the weekend when I have a little more time!. Half a loaf is better than no bread!. I normally buy my bread from the local bakery!. It doesn't have to be nasty just because it's cheap!. In fact, in extremis, when the bakery is closed, I buy bread from the cheapest supermarket in the area, and it's better than the others!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
