You know - in England it's all "unit this and unit that", limits for females and limits for males!.!.!.!.eat 5portions of veg/fruit a day!.!.!.

I eat healthy food and I like my red wine!. And I actually hate the idea I should calculate how many portions of veg I managed to put into my salad!.
My friend gets stressed if she does not manage her 5 a day!.

Saying that - my daughter ( sensibly ) counts her units if she is driving!.!.!.!.!.!.she does not want to lose her license or run someone over or end up maimed!!!
So if its the LAW or for safety reasons - then yes!.!.!.!.but counting 5 fruit and veg a day and all that cr*p - its so that the supermarket chains can get richer !.!.!.!.especially by the 'worriers'! lol

just enjoy it! i think i have a healthy diet and have alcohol socially! we are a food obsessed society!. if were not scoffing mcdonalds and chocs others are obsessed with no calorie foods! for over 200 years the world survived without 5 aday so why panic!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Drink in moderation and make sure you get 5 minimum a day - to live to a healthy old age!. It's just getting in to a mind frame - if you always have fruit or dried fruit on your cereal a smoothie or fresh juice mid morning, an item of salad at lunch a piece of fruit in the afternoon and a few veg for dinner - you'll get in to a routine and wont have to count - plus you'll be buzzing with healthWww@FoodAQ@Com
I'm sad enough to keep track of my units when I go out drinking!.
It helps me control how much am drinking and learn what level of drunkenness I prefer to be at!.
I usually aim for between 15 and 20 units, any more I'll feel sick the next morning, any less I won't be drunk, but it will vary from person to person and on your current state!.
If your running around, have an empty stomach, have been mixing your drinks and haven't drunk in a few weeks expect to get drunker faster than normal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I dont, I mean I guess it is a good idea if you are trying to watch what you eat but I just do it until I know that it is a good time to stop!. Now with vegetables that is another story, I try to eat 5 a day but I am lucky if I get one!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
