Try a variety!. You might want to try a little piece of something every day(peanut butter and apple might be good) put it in the cage for a while then remove!. Keep trying!. Let them see you eating something!. Like corn on the cob break off a piece and offer it!. If they don't like it don't worry!. Keep trying eventually you will find they probably will like the most expensive stuff once it goes out of season!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Maybe they weren't raised on them!.
Mine won't eat them either, and they seem to do fine on seed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Budgies don't have a very complex diet in the wild, so don't worry too much!. (They eat eucalyptus leaves, seeds etc!.) My bird started out by eating spider plants and it kept to keep him healthy!. Put a small plant where your little birds can reach it!. Don't let them eat any old house plant though, because many plants are toxic!. My bird's an older guy and is still going strong even though he's never eaten a piece of fruit in his entire life!. He does like salad if he sees us eating one, and will try food if he sees us eating it!. Try to get them to eat what you like while you're eating!. (No avocados or cabbage)!. They like to eat with their "human" flock and tend to imitate!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
