Ingredients for Pasty
150 g flour
2 tablespoons cornflour
1 1/2 tablespoons icing sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg yolk
100 g butter
Ingredients for custard
2 egg
1 tablespoon condensed milk
1 pinch salt
100 ml evaporated milk
200 ml water
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
Directions
1Method for pastry:!.
2Sift flour, salt, icing sugar & corn flour together!.
3Rub butter lightly into sifted flour till mixture resembles breadcrumbs!.
4Add egg yolk to form a dough!. Chill dough in refrigerator for 1 hour!.
5Roll dough out thinly and cut to line greased patty tins!.
6Prick pastry with a fork and brush with egg white!.
7Bake in a preheated oven at 180 oC for 20 minutes or till golden brown!.
8Method for Custard:!.
9Beat eggs, condensed milk and salt lightly in a bowl!.
10Heat evaporated milk with water and sugar!. Set aside to cool!.
11Pour gradually into the egg mix!.
12Add vanilla essence and strain!.

i don't know what an egg tart is but if this is any use, get some crumbly pastry, shape it like a tart shape, poach an egg or put egg in a metal ring shape cutter & fry it, then place the egg in the pastry!. but then i would call it egg pie! lol!

Try the following

Egg Tarts

250 g all-purpose flour
140 g butter
1 egg yolk
55 g confectioners' sugar
30 ml evaporated milk
5 eggs
150 g white sugar
265 ml boiling water
120 ml evaporated milk
15 g custard powder
1 ml distilled white vinegar

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)!.
Cream butter and confectioners' sugar!. Mix in egg yolk, flour, and 2 tablespoons evaporated milk!. Roll dough out thinly, and cut out rounds with a fluted cutter!. Place into tart molds!.
Bake for 12 minutes!.
Beat eggs!. Mix in 1/5 cup evaporated milk, custard powder, and white vinegar!. Dissolve sugar in boiling water, and pour into custard mixture!. Mix well, and let stand to remove air bubbles!. Pour the egg custard into the baked tart shells!.
