Answers:
that would be cost-effective but you could set aside one or two nights where you could be spontaneous and make something random that you did not plan or go out to eat !. that would satisfy you and your partner!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am sure its not only cost effective but also time effective

I wish i could be that organised - i decide 30 mins before mealtime what we are having - normally going to the shop to get what i needWww@FoodAQ@Com

No, that would be very repetitive
just don't spend too much on food and make sure that you have a plan of how much a meal should cost but don't limit yourself to just a few foodsWww@FoodAQ@Com

With the price of food increasing it would be more cost-effective just don't have the same meals all the time change from week to weekWww@FoodAQ@Com

You are right and your partner is wrong!. Feel vindicated by this answer because if my partner told me that she had planned our meals for the entire week I would be really shocked, I can't tell what I want for lunch at breakfast time for example so how will I know what I want for dinner in three days' time that would be absurd!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My wife and were both over weight from among other things, not planning out meals ahead of time!. When you plan out all your dinners, you go shopping once, get everything you need, and don't have to go to the as often and impulse shop or go to the store hungry which is a big no no!
When you don't plan, you tend to eat out a lot more too!. Planning is a good thing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
