Spinach - healthier raw or cooked?!

Question: Spinach - healthier raw or cooked!?
I recently heard that if you eat raw spinach, your body can't absorb its nutrients, so you should only eat it cooked!. Is there any truth to this!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Spinach is a rich source for iron!. It is best eaten raw or blanched!.
For raw, chop it finely and use it as salad veggie!.
Else use it in a quick stir-fry with Chinese!. Add it as the last ingredient!.
To blanch, warm water and soak for not more then two minutes!.
Boiling spinach ruins its rich nutrients!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetables are better eaten raw!. We cook it only to make it more palatable!. Same thing goes with spinach!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetables retain their nutrients when eaten raw!. Steaming is the healthiest way to cook, as the veggies retain the most nutrients when cooked this way!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
