Question: Is it okay to eat olive fresh off the tree!?
i've seen olives in food!.!.but it made me wonder if it's okay to eat it fresh off the tree because i've never seen it happen!. the olives that fall on the ground from the tree, i've seen some people pick it!. is it okay to eat it that way!? just curious!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, the olive straight from the tree will be very hard and unpalatable!. In order to get a nice, edible olive, it must be soaked in brine for one to six months!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
