Copyright applies to publication of a recipe, not to the food itself!. You could prepare a published recipe and sell the food, but you cannot reprint the recipe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Exact recipes can be copyrighted, but eventually they are revealed!. KFC is an excellent example, for years no one knew, or would reveal the exact ingredients!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
whatever you have invented, wrote in books eg recipes, poetry, inventions of the electric etc you own the copywriteWww@FoodAQ@Com
Probley, people can be selfish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
What KFC protects is not so much the copyright (which is the exact words used to describe) but the trademark!. KFC might not pursue for copyright violation if you actually have their recipe, unless you use their exact words!. But if you reveal the recipe to the public, even if you use different words, you will surely regret it and pay for revealing their trade secret!. There are certainly copycat recipes around, and some of them may even have come really close to the original!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
