Is it safe to eat out? Do people contaminate foods on purpose and accidental?!

Question: Is it safe to eat out!? Do people contaminate foods on purpose and accidental!?
I seriously think that ever since I started eating out, I've been having many more problems with my stomach and general health and I'm almost convinced that people sometimes on purpose contaminate foods!. I've heard horror stories!.

What's the safest foods to eat, and from where!?

And where is it really a gamble!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
There's no such thing as "safest"!.
If the restaurant is following all the rules it's suppose to( HACCP) you won't or shouldn't get sick!.
HACCP is the bible for safe handling of food to prevent contamination in food establishments!.
Critical Control Points etc etc!.
Is it always done!? NO!
Most contamination is not from bad food, but badly mishandled food!. Mostly the holding temps and the cooling temps!.
If someone let's say, spit in your food ( something that's pretty passe these days) you most likely will not get sick( unless that person was sick)!.
Mishandling is what you really have to worry about!.

I will edit and send you the "HACCP" guide to safe food handling!.
Eat in a well know, respectable place!.
That will help

Here you go, alot of reading here!.
